Congratulations, Rachel Sharp Upshaw, for Winning the “2 Years 10 Best” Award!

How are candidates chosen for the “10 Best” award?
Attorneys are nominated by their peers or by a member of the AIOFLA board. The AIOFLA Board of Regents reviews the list of nominees and selects the finalists for the “10 Best” award according to the following criteria: (from the AIOFLA website):
- 10/10 in client satisfaction reviews
- Top rated attorneys in their field
- Must be an industry leader
- No unresolved complaints
- Awards and recognition
- Association memberships
- Publications on subject matter in their area of practice
- Speaking engagements
- Education and continued education
The American Institute believes that most awards given for excellence fail to take the attorney/client relationship into full account, and they are offering a new way for people in need of legal services to assess an attorney’s attention to their clientele. When a prospective client sees that an attorney has won a “10 Best” award in client satifsfaction, they can be assured that this candidate has won the approval of not just other attorneys, but of their clients.
This year’s selection marks Rachel’s second win in a row, an incredible honor – and a sign of her commitment to her clients and their needs. The proof of Rachel’s diligent attention to her clients is evident in the glowing reviews she receives from former clients. She listens to her clients and she is responsive to their needs during one of the most challenging times of their lives. Winning this award for the second year running is confirmation of her commitment to excellence. Congratulations, Rachel!
